Cameron's Amazing Makeover.

Wow! While the majority of the people of Britain are toiling through the conditions that the snow has thrown at us, it appears David Cameron has had quite a makeover in his bid to become the Prime Minister. His receding hairline has magically disappeared, the skin appears smoother than its usual self, the chins and jowls have went in the same place as the receding hairline, and the photo gives off the impression that he went to the same plastic surgeon as Anne Robinson; no character or emotion whatsoever, thanks to the highly invasive plastic surgery.

Of course, I'm not suggesting that Mr. Cameron has enjoyed plastic surgery, and the spurious benefits that having nip and tuck entails, but it reminded me about the way Joseph Stalin fooled many people by exquisitely removing his enemies from photographs. Needless to say, this was without all the online photo editing software that is around today (I wonder how Mr. Cameron would have tried to look appealing to the British electorate without software that can remove blemishes and irritating nuisances on one's skin). Some of the removals of Stalin's enemies are remarkable, and here are some of them below:


Vladimir Lenin and Leon Trotsky were close friends who enjoyed similar political ideas about how the communist state should be run. Lenin wanted Trotsky to become the leader of the USSR after his death, but Joseph Stalin was after the leadership of the Bolshevist state. Trotsky and Stalin frequently quarreling about who should become leader. After Trotsky was exiled, the pair were still at loggerheads and even though Trotsky was killed by a contract killer on the orders of Stalin, Joseph (who has been accused of being anti-semitic, could have been persecuting the Jewish Trotsky just because of his religion) had him removed from many photos with Lenin. Unfortunately, I could only show you that example with Trotsky and Lenin.

I have found other photos on the internet where Stalin has removed people who have fallen out of favour with him. Abel Yenukidze was initally in favour with Joseph Stalin, but the latter became disgusted with Yenukidze after hearing allegations that the elderly Bolshevik after hearing accusations that he had a soft spot for young ballerinas, and was, in today's terms, a paedophile. In truth, Yenukidze probably indulged in some teasing that cannot be regarded as paedophilia. Many rich playboys have playfully protected pretty ballerinas in the past, and rich playboys nowadays still do. Nevertheless, that kind of behaviour from Yenukidze went totally against the ethics of Bolshevism, and Stalin ordered him to be removed from a photo, which can be seen below. Yenukidze is the Ronnie barker look-a-like on the bottom right. It is remarkable how Stalin's henchmen have removed Yenukidze from the photo, yet the man's suit where Yenukidze was beforehand looks like there has never been a man removed.
So while Mr. Cameron might think he is ahead of the times by touching up his photo to make himself look better for the job as Prime Minister, it is nothing new: Joseph Stalin was right when he said he was ahead of his time.

£100 a week for the Italian despot.

As we are told that Benito Mussolini, the Fascist dictator of Italy, has had his blood and parts of his brain stolen to sell on the internet, it appears that MI5 paid him £100 a week when he was a budding journalist back in 1917.

Then a 34-year old journalist, Mussolini was campaigning for Italy to continue fighting alongside the allies in the First World War by publishing propaganda in his paper. It is also regarded by historians that Mussolini, who was a socialist in his youth, ordered army veterans to beat up peace protesters in Milan.

With Russia being embroiled in the Russian Revolution, Italy were now allies with Britain, and MI5 decided to pay 'El Duce' £100 a week from the autumn of 1917 for at least a year to keep up the pro-war campaigning – equivalent to about £6,000 a week today.

In the Soviet war in Afghanistan, western countries were giving weapons to Iraq, which are regrettably being used against our brave and valiant soldiers fighting in countries in the Middle East now. We also had to fight the fascism that Hitler and Mussolini threatened our democracy with in the 30's and 40's, so why were lessons not learned with giving aid and weapons to dangers that would later threaten our society?

Lessons need to be learned in the future, so we don't fuel another extremist attack on our society and democracy.
